Cultural and Education Section of the British Consulate-General is looking for suitable candidates to fill the post as below:

Arts Officer (Job code: AO3)

Salary for this post is RMB6594.00 per month before tax.

Job description of post is:

·Support Arts Manager to develop and plan an appropriate programme of arts activities for Chongqing and Southwest China which is appropriately linked to the regional arts strategy.

·Use performance scorecard question to evaluate impact of project.

·Working in accordance with plans agreed with Arts manager; manage the implementation of agreed British Council Chongqing arts projects.

·Develop and maintain networks and broker relationships.

·Produce marketing and communication plans to agreed projects in consultation with marketing and communication team.

·To manage financial resources effectively and efficiently.

Competencies required include:

·Enterpreneurship

·English and Chinese Language Fluency (English to BULATS level 3 Minimum or equivalent)

·Experience of Project Planning and Implementation

·Demonstrable Interest in UK and Chinese Arts in one or more areas
